Ginger Pimm's cocktail

1 part Pimm's No. 1

2 parts sparkling water & fresh ginger syrup to taste

fresh ginger simple syrup;

  1 cup sugar to 2 cups water and 1/2 cup fresh ginger peeled and chopped. Cook the water and sugar over medium heat until it simmers and the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and add the ginger.  Let sit 2 hours.  Strain into a glass container.

1.5oz Occidental Road Apple Brandy

 .75oz lemon

1.0oz honey solution (one-to-one ratio of honey to hot water, stirred well and cooled)

Shake, pour into 7oz glass, top with a dash of sparkling white wine

garnish with a pinch of rosemary

Handful of Salt

After taking a few days to freshen up our interior and exterior, we are back to our normal hours and ready for fall. Come say hi!

Isabelle

We have had a very special visitor this past week.  Isabelle, Erica's 15 year old daughter, is here visiting NYC and we took her around to check out some of our favorite downtown spots.  Here she is at Cafe Gitane and at the High Line.  Other stops included Washington Square Park, the Tenement Museum, and Baby Cakes Bakery. Of course, after all of that walking we stopped for a pedicure, too.  Come again soon, Isabelle!
